Prep Guidelines:
- ☑️ Press & Trim: Press your quilt top and backing flat. Trim all loose threads on the front and back.
- ‼️IMPORTANT! - Size Up Your Backing & Batting: Your backing and batting must be at least 4 inches larger than your quilt top on all four sides (8 inches wider and longer in total).
- ☑️ Square It Up: Ensure both the quilt top and backing are squared up with straight edges.
- ☑️ Keep Layers Separate: Do not pin or baste your top, batting, and backing together—keep them as individual, unattached pieces.
- ☑️ Indicate Direction: If your top or backing is directional, mark the top edge with a safety pin and note.
